Actress Karen Gillan is a mom! The Guardians of the Galaxy star revealed that she welcomed her newborn in 2024. This little one is her first baby with her husband Nick Kocher.
The actress shared a series of images from the last year, which featured her newborn baby. Karen and Nick welcomed a daughter in 2024 and named her Clementine. “2024 thank you for giving us Clementine .” In her Instagram Stories, she shared that Clementine was welcomed via c-section. She also shared a behind-the-scenes clip from a film she made this year that happened to coincide with her pregnancy. “Also as per the last slide,” she wrote, “I shot a film called ‘Let’s Have Kids’ right as I got preggo in real life so take that Daniel Day Lewis.”
The Doctor Who star revealed in September that she was expecting a baby. While attending the Toronto Film Festival for her movie Life of Chuck, Karen walked the red carpet in a fitted yellow dress that showed off her growing baby bump. Following the event, she posted on an image of herself in the dress on Instagram and captioned the post, “COMING SOON! ‘The Life Of Chuck’ and ‘untitled baby.’”
Karen and Nick have been married since May 2022. However, they didn’t reveal that news until February 2023. In November 2022, rumors swirled that the couple had secretly tied the knot, but they took their time confirming their nuptial news.
