The PREMIUM Complete Feeding Tube Kit includes (3) red feeding tubes. The feeding tubes are optimal for tube feeding small animals such as puppies and kittens. They are PVC material, NOT rubber. Often feeding tubes are used for animals that aspirate or avoid aspiration when feeding. Feeding tubes are recommended to have on hand when whelping litters and can save animals lives. The feeding tubes are extra smooth with a rounded tip.
*Depending on the size of the animal and what size syringe or feeding device is attached, it’s recommended to cut the larger end of the feeding tube (see listing photos) in order to securely attach the feeding tube to the different feeding syringe sizes.*
The bulb syringes can be used for several situations. Primarily for sucking up milk or food from puppies or kittens nostrils. Occasionally, small animals will eat too fast, which results in food coming out of the nostrils. In order to prevent aspiration, the bulb syringe can suck up any fluids and also prevent animals from reaching critical care status.
*Customers have found it beneficial to boil the feeding tubes and bulb syringe in water before and after each use to maintain sterility.*
